Ninghai Gudao Outdoor Products Factory is located in Ninghai, Zhejiang. Ninghai is one of the production bases for trekking poles. Our factory has been specializing in the production of trekking poles for 13 years, providing high-quality, affordable products to a wide range of outdoor sports enthusiasts. We welcome friends from all walks of life to visit our factory for inspection and guidance!! Use of Trekking Poles 1. Adjust the length Stand on a flat surface with the trekking poles in hand. First, fully loosen the poles. Let your arms hang naturally, using your elbows as a pivot point to raise your forearms to a 90-degree angle with your upper arms. Finally, tighten all the poles' support rods. When adjusting, the length should not exceed the maximum adjustment length indicated on the trekking pole 2. Proper use of the wristband: When going downhill, the impact force on the trekking pole should be transferred to our arms through the wrist strap; while going uphill, the arm's thrust is transferred to the trekking pole through the wrist strap, generating upward support. Therefore, when passing the wrist through the strap, we should not directly insert it above the strap to grip the handle, but should lift the strap, pass it under the wrist, and press the strap into our palm before gently gripping the handle. We should use the wrist strap to support the trekking pole, rather than gripping the handle tightly to exert force. If there is a buckle, make slight adjustments, but remember not to affect the operation of the trekking pole. 3. Operating methods for different terrains: The following describes the typical way of using trekking poles, but it is not the only method. You can make slight adjustments in practice to find a method that suits you, so that you can fully utilize the benefits of trekking poles. A. On flat ground and gentle uphill slopes, use the same pace as you would when walking normally. Simultaneously with the left foot moving forward, the right arm should gently move the trekking pole forward, but the tip of the pole should not exceed the front of the body. Then, push the pole towards the ground and push backwards. Repeat the same movements with the left and right hands alternately. B. The movement on a relatively steep slope is similar to normal walking, but the arms should be moved forward and the trekking poles should be positioned in front of the body, using them to support the body upward to reduce the pressure on the legs. If necessary, two trekking poles can be used simultaneously for climbing movements. When pushing the body upward, the palms can be placed on the top of the poles to increase the pushing force. C. When going downhill, due to the relatively high impact force, it is necessary to use trekking poles to reduce the load on the legs; the trekking poles must be positioned in front of the body and must hit the ground before the front foot in order to achieve the effect of distributing the force. At this time, the body will inevitably tilt forward. This movement is not our natural action when going downhill, so it needs to be practiced regularly. At the same time, one must feel where to position the trekking poles to reduce leg pressure without slowing down the original walking speed and rhythm. When necessary, the length of the trekking pole can be adjusted according to personal preference. 2. Maintenance of trekking poles When not in use for a period of time, it is best to store the trekking poles separately, with the openings facing down and standing upright, allowing the moisture inside to slowly drain out.If it cannot be unscrewed, you can gently tap the locked part or wet the trekking pole to reduce some friction, and then you will be able to unscrew it smoothly. 3. Precautions for Using Trekking Poles Why don't carbon fiber poles have shock absorbers? Answer: Carbon fiber trekking poles have elasticity in the pole itself, so there is no need for additional mechanical shock absorption.Mechanical shock absorbers can absorb vibrations Movement will also absorb your energy and affect stability. 2. How do carbon poles compare to aluminum alloy poles in terms of strength? Answer: Carbon tubes have good longitudinal strength, and carbon poles are good, but don't use them as a shoulder strap just because they are good. It's like buying a diamond and not using it to write on the cement floor. So, please take good care of it. For tall people, when using the cane, can it exceed the limit? I see there's still a lot of length left Answer: When the trekking pole is extended to its limit, it should be stopped, and this is the case with any pole. The length of 135cm is sufficient for a person with a height of 195cm. 4. What are the functions of the cane's accessories? Answer: Proper use of a cover can protect the tip of the cane.Using rubber sheaths on large granite floors can prevent unnecessary wear and tear on the cane tips.Small mud cleats are used for soft mud terrain, and large snow cleats are used for walking on soft snow.
